Hello!

On Thursday October 1st I was in a chef's apprentice competition.

We had 4 hours to make a two course with halibut as the main ingredience for the maincourse and pear for dessert.

My menu was oven baked halibut, Duchess potato, carrot puré, butter roasted asparagus, provence inspiered vegetables and basilsauce. For dessert I made poached pears, pear puré, strawberry coulis and vanilla parfait.

Because I came in 2nd last year in the same competition I had more preasure on me than any of the other apprentices.. I won it this year!!! I came on 1st place.. But before the competition I had to tell my self to just do mye best and not think about the fact that I had to win.. And it worked

But I managed to keep my head cool and win the whole thing in Troms of course

So me and the guy who came in 2nd place are going to Stavanger to be reprecenting Troms in the NM(Notwegian Chamionship) the 11-14 of February next year..
